[Audio MP3, Study Guide PDF and Supporting Resources]
The need of a great revival in our churches is admitted by all! As a result many organizations are promoting revival, and many individuals are praying for revival. That is good, because revival is our greatest and most urgent need, and it should be our first work! I have also been promoting revival and spent many hours joining others in seeking revival. Unfortunately true manifestations of the Spirit's power have been limited or lacking. It should not be this way and I have thus been studying further to see what has been missed. I have been surprised by what I have found, and wonder why some of the subjects taken up in this seminar are so rarely mentioned—particularly in the "What's To Confess" section. Based on my study, I fear that any forthcoming revivals may be superficial. I have accordingly prepared the following resources in the hope that many individuals will pursue the kind of revival that will result in personal transformation and great blessings from God.
Resources on this page include a pdf with "line numbers" down one side so that you can follow when quotes are read. There is also the audio of the eleven sessions. Finally there are the additional materials that were referenced during the course of the meetings.

"The descent of the Holy Spirit upon the church is looked forward to, as in the future; but it is the privilege of the church to have it now. Seek for it, pray for it, believe for it. We must have it, and Heaven is waiting to bestow it."—Letter 15, 1892, pp. 8-10. (To Elder S.N. Haskell, June 25, 1892.) – {5MR 335.1}
